THE SCHOOL P.T.A
The P.T.A of SDPS is a unique and unparalleled illustration of harmony and sharpened wit. Parents and teachers vie with each other to think of innovative ideas for the development of this institution. The parents compare different aspects and share ideas with the management team coupled with teachers. The implementation of the ideas is the final step which is undertaken by everyone’s cognizance.
For instance, it was decided to take up the issue of the slightly mentally challenged students and them under the wing of the institution so that they too could interact with normal children. Such students even appeared and successfully, cleared the board examination, to the credit of our school. Similarly individual attention is paid to the students who are lagging in anyway so that the personality of each child is well groomed.
The P.T.A is also very active in improving the environment of the school. Regular tree-plantation activities are undertaken. Thus, the P.T.A is akin to the soul of the institution.
